A Day Out

A planned day trip with our friends J & S. We picked them up at 8 and headed off to Bracklesham Bay near Chichester. S had booked us a table at Billy’s on the Beach for breakfast. After stuffing our faces we then laid out on the pebbley beach to catch some rays. I wandered down to the sea to grab a couple of pics. Around lunchtime the cloud started to roll in and immediately felt a bit cooler. When we felt a couple of drops of rain we packed up and headed back to the car. 

S had also booked us a table for dinner at a pub in Bosham for 4pm so we decided to head there. A journey of 20 minutes was about 45 due to roadworks. The rain had stopped by this time so we sat outside in the pub gardens having a drink and playing cards before we were ready to be called in for our table.

We got home about 7. A shame we didn’t have wall to wall sunshine but a much needed chilled day out nevertheless.
