It has been dull and overcast today, but still quite hot though not so hot as yesterday's sunny day.

Had lunch with a friend yesterday; it was nice to see her face to face as although we talk often on the telephone, we have not met up for quite a while.  Lots to talk about and a few laughs too.

Did our food shopping afterwards, as we are busy tomorrow.

I liked this plant growing out of the dyke, I think it is  Toadflax but I could be wrong.  The contrast with the stone is pleasing to the eye.
