A grave matter
Some people had a lot of rain yesterday, not around this part of Gloucestershire though, a few drops for a few minutes, was about it.
So I was off to the cemetery to water the flowers I'd put on my Father-in-Law and Sister-in-Law graves.
I found the slugs had started on the petunias so went back home and came back armed with a box of slug killer.
I don't have the prowess of Rob 'Bootneck' with a knife to deal with them in that way. I was trained with the use of bayonets, but only on parade when we were using .303 Enfield and 7.63 SLR rifles. No charging at scarecrows for us telegraphists.
