Kata Tjuta and our big walk

What an epic day today.  It was an early start to make sure we could be out at the sunrise viewing area at Kata Tjuta in time to see the magic unfold and it didn’t disappoint.  Myra and Sabine joined us and we ended up cooking brekkie out there before heading back to embark on our epic 10.5km walk around the base of Uluru/Ayres Rock.  We really took out our time at the rock.  We all wanted to absorb the spirit of the most amazing natural wonder.  6 hours later we arrived back at our vans with so many wonderful memories of our day.
The past three days have been life changing in so many ways and this is the first night we have been able to post since Tuesday.  We will definitely back blip tomorrow to catch up.
We have one more day Left before we head north to Kings Canyon and Alice Springs and we will say goodbye to our wonderful travelling companions on Sunday when they head back home to Blackheath.
