Day 438 Looking rosy

After nearly a week of sunshine th roses have decided to flower in abundance and so I decided to use some of them for today's Abstract Thursday entry. I have layered a number of shots of a cluster in our front garden, given the result a touch of heatwave in Picasa to brighten it and then applied a wave filter in PS Elements.

In other news: I went to see my consultant today to be 'signed off' for my recent surgery, although we both know that I will be seeing him again for the other side sometime in the next six to twelve months.  In the meantime we are both pleased with my progress and were the 'good hip' not quite so 'bad', I'd be walking unaided now.  Later this afternoon I had my hair washed and dried by the lovely T at the hairdressers.  I expect eventually I'll have to return to doing it myself, but I think that I can spin this out for a bit longer! .  Due to my various appointments I spent less time in the garden but did make sure that I got out there as rain is forecast for tomorrow.
