Birthday Girl!

Today I have shot of my 'alternative flower', Violet who had her 8th birthday party today.  Her actual birthday will be next week, but it was easier to arrange her party during Half Term.  Yesterday was their fabulous street party and today was ours, but of course we missed the action.  I have put up in extras a rather lacklustre collage of our end of the street prior to the start of the party.  I gather that a jolly good time was had by all,  judging by the pics on the street Whatsapp group and we didn't miss out completely as our lovely neighbours opposite invited us over for more drinks and food when we arrived home this evening.
