Its the Way It Is

A lovely day today

in North Wicklow/South Dublin. The first time we have had some real heat. And it was warm after early swim. Makes for longer swim and a nicer time to linger and chat.

I had to go into Dun Laoghaire for work and it was busy but as I was early I managed to find handy parking. I was able to do some shopping in extended lunch hour and bought myself a summer skirt snd jazzy leggings. A nice feeling to browse and actually see what you are buying instead of buying online. The hordes were out in the hot sunshine and everyone gearing up for the forthcoming bank holiday Whit weekend. The Irish will go to town (holy moly).

Extra is a landmark corner shop. Newspapers from all over the world and the Irish Times going back a month, if you need it. A bit of a special place really. My descriptions wouldn’t do it justice

The daughter is coming over this evening and we are going on the doss tomorrow - happy days.

Just heard that the market in the People’s Park in Dun Laoghaire will be open on 13th June. Brilliant!

I have had a lovely day today and enjoying some chicken casserole now. For anyone in Ireland, can I recommend at 7.30pm on rte 1, Tracks and Trails. It covers Wicklow and specifically Bray and environs. Maybe you can get it from abroad on rte player (not sure tho’)

Hope everyone enjoying this fab weather
