Grey Heron

Couldn't find the young one at first, I did see one of the adults but no young one. I went all the way round the loch for the first time in quite a while. The water has completely receded and the mud has dried so you can get all the way round. When I reached the entrance end I spotted what I thought was the adult chasing off the young one (this happened a few weeks ago). However I decided to go half way round and leave by the side exit. When I got there the young one appeared from nowhere again staring at me and looking for her fish. I thought how crafty she has doubled back.. I gave her her fish and made my way back home. When I looked at the photos I had taken of the adult chasing her off I was quite astonished to see it was the young one seeing off the adult! All that fish is obviously doing her good.
The extra is the young one chasing off the adult.
Had real problems uploading this one - I eventually just reduced the size.
