Goodbye for another year

A last couple of hours in the town including a good breakfast, and then home along wet roads and under leaden skies. Been a great week. All started with Richard Booth, the self proclaimed King of Hay, who died a couple of years ago. From him came the town of books and that led to the Hay Festival. Now in the digital age the whole world is joining in ...

We have actually had a lovely few days in the welsh countryside and seen more of nature than we usually do. The countryside is stunning, the people friendly, and we will miss the clean air and the dawn chorus. 

The weather for the next few days is apparently set fair and warm. So much to enjoy still even if we don’t have Hay here at home ...
