A rather lovely Friday. Maddy was working at ours again today, so we were up in good time. I finished my book in the morning, then walked into town to post some parcels.

From there I headed to the centre, and met Wendy off her bus. We walked up Park Street (slowly, it was very hot) and went to BTP for some cake in the garden. A couple of hours of sunshine and chatting, then we slowly wandered back down the hill and along to the floating harbour.

Wasn’t home for long after that before we headed out again for the comedy festival! The whole gang was there, a few people we hadn’t seen since we went camping last August! Everyone kept saying how exciting it was to be out doing an actual thing.

The comedy was all excellent, and even the socially distanced seating squares didn’t seem that weird after a while. Getting drinks delivered to our seats was actually preferable! Afterwards we all headed back to Paul & Elly’s garden to order some food. Burly was so excited to have so many of his friends round.
