Storm Clouds
Today I cooked for my mother and stayed with her until the late afternoon.
We didn't go for a walk, not even a short one. The clouds looked dark and threatening, and we could hear the rumble of thunder in the distance.
But we had lunch and later coffee on her terrace, in the sunshine - as you can see on the wisteria leaves of this blip. It never rained there all day.
When I finally drove home, I had to switch on the windscreen wipers in the next village, only three kilometres (less than two miles) away.
And 15 minutes later, I arrived at home in pouring rain.
