The Filing Cabinet

The largest UK civil court built for more than 100 years was completed in 2008 in Spinningfields, Manchester. The 14-storey building is nicknamed 'The Filing Cabinet' because its irregular shape resembles open drawers. It houses 47 courts or hearing rooms, 76 consultation rooms, 7 conference rooms and 6 witness suites.
