what lies beneath
This morning was fresh and sunny so after dropping the kids off I decided to spend some time cutting back in the garden. It's amazing how the colourful plants of last summer end up as sticks picked up by birds for nests...
The cutting back made my garden look bigger and revealed many bulbs poking up in their efforts to reach the sky. It revealed small snowdrops which I didn't even realise were there.
Snowdrops really need at least one blip in my journal. This is what lies beneath the petals of a snowdrop which lay beneath huge hibernating plants.....
