Not so.....Pretty Bubbles...

Today Paladian had the macro lens on the camera off and on all day, as if it was tied by an umbilical cord, so I thought, OK it might as well be a family macro day.

Spotted this paper wasp on the bird bath doing something rather strange. It was gathering drops of water in its mouth, which I assume was being transported back to the nest. I was not aware of this wasp behaviour before and it was fascinating to watch.

It also meant the wasp was still for quite a few moments making it an excellent target for a decent macro.
