Ornamental birdcage

On what turned out to be the nicest day of the year and a bank holiday (hurrah!), I did a day trip to London and met Tim at King’s Cross. We agreed that I’d be waiting next to the ‘bird cage swing’ on the concourse next to the station. I don’t really know why there is an over-sized birdcage in this location, but it is what it is.

We walked along Regent’s Canal Towpath first to Camden, where we got iced coffees and Portuguese custard tarts, and then to Regent’s Park, where we drank cans on the grass. ‘Twas all very nice indeed.
