Blousey beauty

Slept ok, Emily’s bed is comfy :-) woke feeling ok, having taken 2 nurofen during the night lol
Went downstairs to join daughter & Paula who was just heading off. We got a brew and sat in the early morning sunshine.

Daughter showed me a video on her phone from her “ring” doorbell…..03.50am, pizza delivery lol The girls had found somewhere open, ordered, paid, instructed them not to ring the doorbell, waited until delivery guy got back in his car, before unlocking the front door, all consumed bar one slice! We were completely oblivious…… completely different generation ;-)

We had sausage & scrambled eggs for breakfast. The youngsters surfaced in stages between 10-11 I think, by which time we had washed up, cleared everything away, gazebo down! I got home just after 11.

A quick circuit of the garden, watered the baskets & tubs, a quick blip of one of 4 clematis on one of the trellis panels……I’m not sure what variety this is, but it’s very frilly & pretty!

Unpacked my things, showered & changed and round to our friends & neighbours for 1pm as they had invited me to join them for a birthday lunch…… which was just lovely, sat outside, chilled Pinot, lovely food & a posh coffee :-)

Sat chatting away for hours, we had a couple of G&Ts…… retired into the conservatory as it clouded over a little….:.we reminisced about our meeting 20+ years ago, our holidays, our quiz nights, so many good memories, we did shed a tear, looking at old photos <3 a couple of cups of tea later I looked at the clock it was 9pm!!! Eventually got home at 10.40…..now that’s what you call a long lunch lol :-D

Had a coffee & a slice of toast, put the tv on for a while…..: bed at 12.30 lol

It’s actually my birthday tomorrow, can’t say I’m looking forward to it :-(
