Baby magpie

We had a visitor to the garden this afternoon. It’s parents are nesting in a nearby tree and apparently turfed the fledglings out a few days ago. Not sure how many there are but they have been wandering around a neighbour’s garden where the owners have 2 cats! Molly showed great interest and stood watching it for a while. It kept opening and closing its beak in the hope of food. She did chase after it when it moved so I removed her and made sure it was able to get to some shelter.
