Furnace Falls

John returned from his early walk with Pepper saying there were clouds of dragonflies a short way down the footpath, so off I went with camera and various lenses. Skittish insects though that don't like a lens too close, so it was challenging. One dragonfly obliged - larger than all the others and is, after some googling, a female broad-bodied Chaser dragonfly. (extra)

The waterfall was later in the day and very close to where we are spending the night. It's adjacent to an interesting historical building which was for making iron, powered by a huge water wheel. An inefficient set up though so it didn't last long but a good waterfall behind it though!

A visit to the beach at Dovey Point before setting up for the evening on the site. We were 'entertained' by the caravan that pulled in shortly after us which took ages to set up their awning - I don't think they will be moving on in the morning!
