First, Mrs Oons and I want thank everyone for the overwhelming kindness shown after we lost Skirlie last week. It really did help, and we are replying to people individually.
 
Now, today being Sunday.  I have a long-standing, unshakable rule. Never watch Sunday morning political TV. An absurd waste of journalistic opportunity to hold this appalling Westminster Government to account, and an utter waste of everyone's time. Anyway I had grass to cut, far more interesting than anything they will achieve. And I built a new compost container out of old pallets. And apéros were well earned
