A Sunday Morning Stroll
Yesterday we took the girls home, went to visit Alan's mum and dad as it was Barry's birthday and then we went to do some more 'house' shopping. So this morning we decided to get up early and go out for a walk while it was quiet, and we walked from Colwyn Bay to Rhos on Sea. It's not very far, only about a mile, but is a lovely walk along the prom to this little bay at Rhos.
We were home by 10am and sat in the garden having bacon sandwiches for breakfast by 10.15am. Alan then had to go and dismantle the spare bed as we have sold it and someone was coming to collect it, I did 3 wash loads and got them all hung out to dry and then re-painted the new blue feature wall in the dining room. The colour I'd originally chosen was a bit too bright, so I got another slightly deeper colour to paint over it, and am really pleased, it looks much better.
Alan watched the F1 and then he cut the hedges while I made a Sunday roast - so another busy day, but we did make time to have a glass of wine in the garden before dinner.
I hope you're all well and have had a good weekend - thanks for all the stars and hearts on my posts, I appreciate it, and hopefully I'll be able to catch up with you all soon!
