Ready for lunch

It's another beautiful day weather-wise, but not so as far as friends go, regrettably.

One friend going through treatment for cancer, another waiting to see when she will be having a biopsy, and our lovely fire chief has died of cancer and was such a fun neighbour to have until his family moved away four years ago.  He leaves two grown-up sons, his second wife and a thirteen year old daughter.  Life's feeling very cruel right now.

I've done a bit of housework, a bit of gardening and watched a bit of tennis.  JJ has washed the floors and been over the back strimming around more of the fruit trees.
