Growing along the side of a fence they were little shoots a week ago now they are in full bloom

Did my big grocery shop today at Lidl after taking the dogs for a walk. Then we came home via Castleford so i could call at Wilkos for some fertilizer for the apple trees (a bit late but better late than never) and some rose food.

I havent been into Cas (as we call it) for over a year. I was amazed at how many people were not wearing masks in wilko or in the town and certainly not observing social distancing. It was market day and particularly busy too.

This afternoon i just did nothing much except put a plant in the garden that i have been meaning to do for ages.

Its been really warm again and we did have a heavy downpour around noon and thunder but it was short lived.

Macaroni cheese for tea and red grapefruit for afters

Thats it for today now i am going to watch tv it looks to be another night of exciting programmes I Dont Think so have to see what rubbish films are on Prime.
