Well here we are

Minus me, of course. But I was behind the camera. I was definitely there.

Book group got together for the first time since March 2020. It felt good. It took ages before we got on to the book itself - The Years by Annie Ernaux - because the conversations were sprouting everywhere. Those who had read some or all of the book really liked it. A couple of people, for perfectly legitimate personal reasons, had not got around to it. We’re hoping for another garden get together in July. And then, who knows?

Other than that, I tidied up a lot of loose ends, so that I can get on with a big piece of work tomorrow and Wednesday. I also repotted the poinsettia, which will probably kill it.
