Flash came to visit

Flash, aka William Jamie, came to visit this afternoon, proving that he's up to his Marvel persona by dashing about the garden.

It was definitely a William and Grandad day. I had to give a talk via Zoom to members of the Cleethorpe Camera Club so Grandad went to Leicester to fetch William. First they went to the magnificent play park at Glenfield where William tried out all the attractions while Grandad watched him from a bench.

Then they went to Morrisons just along the road to the café. William had something green and chocolatey with two eyes. Grandad had a blueberry muffin. Afterwards they went shopping In Morrisons with Grandad pushing a trolley attached to a Little Tikes car, occupied by William.

We finally returned him home at 5.30 pm.

Grandad complained that he was tired. I explained that it's very tiring looking after young children. Men so rarely realise that childcare can be exhausting.
