Fields of buttercups

We got off to an early start, leaving our holiday home at Haytor at 7.30am in hope of beating the traffic around Bristol. It was very heavy, but luckily no serious hold ups this time and we reached Edwina and John's at Bollington by about 12.30.
After a picnic lunch in their beautiful garden, we went off to check in to our hotel. Then we met up again for a walk through the lovely countryside from Kerridge to Rainow, passing waulkmill waterfall (extras) and lots of sheep with lambs.
It was a very hot day, so we were glad to stop at the local pub in Rainow before starting the return journey.
A takeaway curry for dinner at Edwina and John's, and then back to the hotel.
