Pilot Plumes

It was another bitterly cold day but nice and bright, here we have Toward, one of the Clyde Pilot Vessels. These boats carry the pilots out to larger vessels to navigate them through the narrows and into the port of Greenock.

I liked the fact that the hull is almost totally obscured by the plumes of spray, the hull is Navy Blue for the record!!! A bumpy ride I suspect.

I have been trying to catch one of the pilot boats for a while, a little treat for one of my friends... Enjoy
