Robroyston circuit
This chap* (extra) is in Hogganfield Loch, he’s clearly performing some important Nature Reserve task. At one stage he was up to his oxters/armpits in water. Had I been on my own I would have been tempted to hang about until he returned to the shore and ask him.
I had several blip options today including the source of the Molendinar, where St Mungo founded his church in the 6thcentury, and several of coot chicks, heron and cygnets. The extra is one of the coots clearly weeks ahead, developmentally, of the ones in the Southside.
I also found out, thanks to P, (as did two others with Osprey backpacks) that there is an inbuilt whistle in the chest strap. Who knew.
*On reflection I think I’ll swap the extra blip for the man in water.
