Sunbathing!

I know I have blipped this Jenny Wren before but she is around the window all day chirping and feisty and not at all scared of the bigger birds. She waits for me to put out the mealy worms and then tucks in and has the loudest song from such a tiny bird. I hope she applied her factor 50 suncream as she sunbathed in the few bursts of sun that we have had on a cold day.
When I got up this morning the Heron was back at the pond. Am going to try and set up the camera now each morning and my aim - and I will be completely obsesssive about it - is to catch the Heron before it spots me 'cos I guess it will be back.
Will Spring and warmer weather come this year or will we go straight into Summer?
