The roundhouse

This building used to be called the roundhouse and housed the doings of Newcastle City Council.  The Council sold it for some millions (lots of mumbling about that and how much it cost them to move to rented premises) and it has been converted into a hotel -  The Kingsley  - I think it would be better called the Kingsmen, don't you? It opened today and you can see people in rooms or rather, lights where rooms seem to be occupied.   It is a 5 star hotel. They added the bit on the roof which is connected to the old building.   (A poor link but my only to Bobs theme of connected today).  I have put a link to an old blip which badly shows you a bit of the building before renovation here if you are interested and also Here is a link to the hotel and an aerial view of the area (possibly artists impression).
