Simply The Best

Another late blip...*. -  Today's blip is far more interesting :-)

I like to take photos of the garden plants to record how well each one does every year, in the pretence that I might get round to moving an under achiever in the autumn. 
This year the poppies (Marquis of Livermere for those interested in such things) near the gate, have attracted a lot of comments from passersby as they are the best they have ever been.
I love to see them with a low sun shining through their petals but another flower that is so short lived.

Throughout the past 18months my aunt has relied on me more and more. Unsurprising as she is nearly 99.
However, after a couple of near misses with falls, the time has come when I can't help her as much as she needs, so I've been dispatched to look at suitable care homes.
It's been such an emotional time but we've come through it and she is moving into a lovely, rural home just 5 minutes from where she has lived for the past 45 years.
Monday is moving day and I'm bracing myself for more upset but it's by far the best outcome.
