Clematis Miss Bateman

The morning started dry but by elevenses time it was really quite wet ..... good for the gardens but not so good for my jacket or trainers.

A walk through Pollok where we collected some free tulip bulbs which were heaped in a wheelbarrow prior to being burnt on a bonfire. We had a chat with one of the gardeners and he gave us permission to take as many discarded bulbs as we wanted.

Spotted this pretty clematis on my way home .... petals just a bit soggy.

Off to Elie tomorrow .... I hate packing but it has to be done.
