A new family on the loch

A brief visit to the loch this morning on my way back from the garage. The traffic on the main road came to a halt while the Canada Geese and their goslings decided to cross the road to enjoy the grass which was so much greener over there.

I spotted this group of very young Greylag goslings ..... the latest youngsters to join the masses. Some seem very happy wearing a scarf of water weeds. I hadn't time to wait but I hope they managed to ditch their greenery.
