Out for dinner

Richard's sister Diana is staying with us for 10 days, having travelled back with him from N Ireland. Jim - Diana's husband - died suddenly last December. Diana's been doing all right, with her son, daughter & extended family all living nearby. But now she's ready for a trip and for some quiet times too.

Tonight we went out to eat at Whitby's fish and chip restaurant on the edge of Sheffield. Normally it's a bustling place, and it serves really excellent fish (and not only the fried kind). Now they've reopened, it's a quieter affair: more space between tables, no queues. But still great food. Fingers crossed for their future.
