Dappled

Woke early, 5am to walk the hound in the cool morning. On return went back to bed.  Bedroom 26° last night even with fan. Rose at 8.30, after breakfast trimmed some hazel branches threatening to decapitate us as we pass.
Headed off after 1pm to meet friend A. We bought iced coffee and sat in the shade in the nearby cemetery for a good catch-up.  Many others had the same idea.
Booked a swim for tomorrow. Maybe this summer I'll get properly fit . . .
