Day 7 Napier

The temperature got up to 20degC today, so it was rather nice being out and about.  We met a friend for morning coffee and had a lovely catch up.  Following that we met three more friends for lunch and another catch up. Then we drove over to Hastings to the Soma shop, where I purchased two pure Merino tops. On the way back to our friend’s place in Taradale we popped in to the Mission Estate Winery (https://missionestate.co.nz/ ) for a quick look and to take some photos for my blip.  The building that houses the restaurant is perched up on a hill and has wonderful views over the vineyard and the suburb of Taradale out to Marine Parade.  The main blip shows the main entrance on the left, the rear of the building at top right and the view from the front entrance through to the door leading out to the rear of the building at bottom right.  The extra shows the long driveway between the vines and the view from the rear of the restaurant building. Tonight we met up with the “Thursday Night Group” who we used to go out with on a Thursday night when we still lived in Napier.  Such a lovely, social day. We might need to go home for a rest!
