An Afternoon in Town
My mother had her quarterly health check-up today. I went to the GP with her, as always.
Usually the practice is well organized and we don't have to wait too long. But today was "vaccination day", everyone was very busy, and we had to wait for an hour for the GP to see and examine my mum. Then we waited for her to get an ECG, and then we waited for the GP again.
After that, we had to wait some more at the reception desk, to get a prescription. And of course, there was a queue at the pharmacy when we went in to pick up her meds.
All in all, we spent over two hours in this nice old building, which is almost entirely taken up by surgeries and medical facilities.
