We had a walk up Calderglen today, along the river from one bridge, crossing the second bridge and back to the Visitor Centre for coffee.  It was quite hot but quite windy, and not much sun especially as we were among the tall trees, but we loved it.  

Afterwards needed to go to the supermarket which ended up a long trip around as our route was closed off due to roadworks..... we found a diversion though and got there in the end.

I took my main photo at the first bridge; not much water coming over, the river Calder was almost dry in places, as we have had little rain over the last month or so.  The extra pictures were taken along the route, I was pleased to spot some Ramsons, the garlic smell was lovely!
