Into the void.

Didn't wake till after ten this morning after last night's sleepless effort.  Felt really refreshed but uncertain if much would get done.  However I was wrong.  I had a tidy and then hoovered the entire house including the stairs which really needed attention.  Even did a bit of mopping.  Cheered by the activity I went into the garden and planted the last geranium. Did a bit of weeding and watered all the new planting in the front garden.  Dug out a couple of Welsh poppies but most of them are going to get zapped.  Noticed the the new lupins are beginning to flower although not fully yet.
Remembered I needed to do exercises so got them out of the way then went to the Pillars for milk and treated myself to sesame breadsticks and a bottle of Chardonnay.  Took some tree photos there then wandered round the garden at home.  It's been sunny all day but quite breezy so there were few insects around. Eventually found this little chap sheltering low down in the woolly willow but thinking of going further down still.  Amazing how hairy insects are.
