My tree on the hill

A busy day, ticking off everything on my to do list.  Books on Galloway arrived and I spent a lot of time reading.  It was good.  Lots of ideas for things to do in bad weather and lots of good pit stops for coffee and cake.  E-mailed Alison with a couple of ideas for her and Bob.
Had a bit of a blitz on the Welsh poppies. I felt bad as they are so pretty but they have to go.  I know they won't do it without a fight.
Went up East Lomond to the radio mast car park to have a look at my favourite tree and take a photo.  Usually I take it early in the year when the leaves are just starting and I think that is much better.  Not impressed with the result but I'll maybe have another go in the autumn.
