Swarming bees take a rest

Today's second adventure was watching these swarming bees find a place to rest.
The first was less pleasant , Bramble spent the day at the vets having a scan and x-rays , under anaesthetic. She has been limping for sometime and been in pain . It turns  out that she has mild arthritis in her hips and severe arthritis in her left elbow. We will be having a chat with the vet once the scan has been seen by a radiologist. We have spent a lot of money on pet insurance over the years and now we are getting some of it back . 
re the bees , its been fascinating to watch them arrive and then eventually settle . There is a network of beekeepers whom you can call if a swarm appears, we have duly rung and someone will come tomorrow and collect them. Several of our friends are beekeepers and we have enjoyed the fruits of their labours !
