Transience

All oriental poppy buds are open now, strangely enough the flowers don't open up widely. The ones at the back opened at the beginning of the week, the most pink ones burst out of their buds late yesterday afternoon, see that actually happening in the extra. The ones you see here are all from one plant, the other plant has only one bud and that one has frillier edges. I wonder if it will be possible to breed them further from their seeds :-)
