Big day

A full and wonderful day. Here’s a picture of the happy graduate (if only the extra head hadn’t popped in over her shoulder!).

Grateful for the unexpected cool and for the circumstances that now let us (if vaccinated) sit outdoors without masks on. The program was held in the high school stadium and was quite a lot of fun. I thought I might tear up but instead just felt proud and excited. Isabelle ended on a high note after the tough year that she and so many other kids had. She took her cousin to a friend’s party this evening and will celebrate her own at home tomorrow.
