New frog…

….we were SO excited ( how nerdy can we get? ) when we realised this afternoon that we actually have two frogs. As anyone who follows me knows we have two water features in our little suburban garden…..the Belfast sink mini pond created 3 years ago and kept as a bird bath when we made the bigger pond last spring. The little one has flourished and become the haven of Fred who appeared in March ( quite a large and definitely an immigrant Common Frog - in the extra ) then yesterday evening I found a much smaller ( and hopefully homegrown from last year) frog in the main pond! They were both out sunbathing at the same time :) Mum was here and was very excited too. It was the perfect end to what had been a lovely day with good friends round for a glass of wine in the sun :)
