Fun day out!

It's a mix of two different meet ups; my two sons and their families, Me and Barry with his sister in the photo, and Ronnie her husband. We had a super long lunch, 4 hours, at an organic cafe/shop sat outside in the sunshine catching up on the last 18 months since we saw them! The children and grandchildren had a fun day out, mucking about in the river and a picnic lunch. So good to see them all together and having such a happy time. 
Reg was pleased to see us on our return. We'd been away for about 6 hours in total and although he's quite happy sleeping I always feel guilty leaving him so long, even though I know he will be much happier at home. He hates the Landrover and would have been bored sat around while we were eating and talking. It's not often we go out and he's left alone and he's a really good boy, never does anything naughty while we're away.
A little watering in the polytunnel rounded off a day in the outdoors. Then the midges signalled time to retire to a comfy sofa and some knitting!
