Work in progress....

I've made a start on the patterns and fabric I bought with my very generous birthday voucher from my children. I've started with the most straightforward, a boxy lightweight sweatshirt. I love the colours and the fabric, a French Terry, is beautiful to work with. I will definitely get it finished before my next trip, in just over a week, so I can show the children how pleased I am with their gift. I can't wait to wear it and although it will probably be too warm to wear it while I'm away it certainly isn't here! Today was dreadful, cold, windy, wet and very grey. The most depressing of days. Luckily working with these bright colours cheered me up!
