Trossachs View
I braved the icy cold today and had a trip out to the Whitehills Windfarm (biggest in UK with 140 turbines) for soup (sooperb!) and latte (fine). Lots of potential blips but on the way home along the Eaglesham moor road I spotted some great view so had to pull into a layby, climb across the jaggy fence and jump from rushy tussock to rushy tussock to avoid disappearing into bits of blanket sphagnum bog. Set up tripod avoiding sheep poo and used my remote shutter release and HDR setting to get a photo across the Clyde valley. Those with knowledge and good eyes might just make out the Royal Jubilee Hospital (may be visible in yestersdays blip but I haven't checked) in Clydebank/Dalmuir. The mountains of the Trossachs are snowy beyond the Kilpatrick Hills. I am hoping someone can help me out with he names. I think one might be Ben Vorlich (farthest away). I've put the 'location' as where I think we are looking. Use a cross polariser for this but with the sun's position it made little odds.
