Polo

We took Hector to his first two polo matches today. When we first arrived and parked up, he was a bit surprised at all the horses warming up on the pitch and just barked. However, I took him for a walk along the riverside and sat with him for a while in the shade away from the action and he took it in his stride, even when cars and horses went past. So I took him back to the car and then he was fine sitting with us beside it for the rest of proceedings, mooching about and even sleeping a little towards the end.

In Extras is a picture of Lila Pearson of the Cowdray Vikings, who is a bit of a hero of mine for her fearless polo prowess, and Hector after we returned home to watch the England match.
