It Never Fails

You can almost guarantee that as soon as the Poppies come into bloom we get a couple of days of high winds and some heavy rain to give them a hard time. This year has proved no exception.

As an extra a photo of a common type of moss seen around the village. I've been trying to identify for a while and the closest I can get is Juniper Haircap. Any experts out there to confirm or tell me otherwise?
