Another empty beach

After a leisurely brunch at a local harbour cafe we set off along Lossiemouth beach as far as Covesea Lighthouse.   Although it was still very windy (at times the sand being whipped up was like a dust storm), the air was warm and it was a lovely walk.

Just as we left the beach I spotted some quite exotic looking frilled poppies (in extras) growing wild along the dunes.
