I missed the joke!

There obviously was one, but I was too busy setting up a group shot using the phone camera.

Seven of us walked today. My image was taken before Christine and Henry joined the group. Somehow the group photo looked rather wooden, so I went for this natural one instead.

We did 8.2 miles from Wall Village, up onto Fallowfield Fell, via the Dene and then Codlaw Hill until we reached Hadrian's Wall Trail. Then we walked west on the Trail, back to Wall. 

We all had lime and soda at The Hadrian Hotel in Wall. Very good it was too. They have a lovey outdoor area with picnic tables and artificial turf. It works well.

Our new carer came today to cover lunchtime and that was a success. She will return on Wednesday (and I hope she will do the ironing too).
